How much does it cost?
Introductory first session £30
Individual counselling sessions (50 minutes): £50
Individual EMDR session (50 minutes): £50
Individual EMDR session (80 minutes): £80
Payment is required at the beginning of each session, or in advance. Payment can be made by cash, bank transfer, debit/credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay and iZettle link.
When can I get an appointment?
Daytime appointments are available Monday to Friday, sometimes at short notice depending on room availability.
If you require an evening appointment please contact me as this varies.
Regular on-going counselling appointments can take place on the same, mutually agreed, day and time weekly or fortnightly, however I can be flexible depending on your requirements.
How do I contact you?
Please get in touch by phone or email. If I am unable to answer the phone please leave your name and phone number ONLY and I will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible, within business hours.
How many sessions are required?
I will be guided by your circumstances and requirements. I offer both short term (usually between 4-8 session) or long term therapy, with the number of sessions required varying from client to client, dependent on your individual needs.
As the EMDR process differs, this will be explained at the introductory session.
What about confidentiality and data protection?
Confidentiality is central to therapy and underpins ethical practice. I will explain the limits to confidentiality and GDPR during the introductory session. I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Do you counsel children, couples or families?
I only offer counselling to individuals aged over 18.
I do not offer couples or family counselling.
